Modvigil 200 MG and the Difference Between Fatigue and Sleepiness
Fatigue and excessive sleepiness are often used interchangeably, but they can describe different experiences. Fatigue generally refers to a lack of physical or mental energy, while excessive daytime sleepiness involves difficulty staying awake or an increased tendency to fall asleep during the day. Occasional fatigue can follow stress, demanding activities, or insufficient sleep, whereas persistent sleepiness despite adequate rest may be associated with an underlying sleep disorder.
Modvigil 200 MG contains modafinil, a prescription wakefulness-promoting medicine used for certain conditions associated with excessive daytime sleepiness, including narcolepsy and shift work sleep disorder. It may also be prescribed for persistent daytime sleepiness associated with obstructive sleep apnea alongside appropriate primary treatment. However, Modvigil 200 MG is not intended to treat ordinary fatigue or replace adequate sleep.
