EIC PL Seminars
General information
In the next 10 years, intensive work will be carried out on the construction of the experimental infrastructure and theoretical research related to the planned measurements of physical quantities at Electron-Ion Collider (EIC). We deemed it appropriate to start encouraging young people to participate in this project, so that in 10 years time they would constitute the core of the Polish experimental groups involved in the collaborations established around the planned detectors, and to conduct theoretical research related to this project. Of course, during the 10 years before the EIC will deliver its first data, their help in apparatus building and theory research is also welcomed and desired. We believe that one of the activities leading to the accomplishment of this aim, will be regular, nationwide seminars addressed mainly to undergraduate / Ph.D. students, i.e. starting from the level accessible to talented young people, but not necessarily having a deep knowledge of experimental and theoretical particle physics.
